2022

  • July 20, 2022 Rwenzori Process Private Limited was registered in India as a private company in the state of Gujarat in the city of Sanand with a mission to produce recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) plastic products and drive plastic recycling innovations.
  • July 28, 2022: The organization was officially established and started laying the groundwork for its manufacturing business and sustainability plans.
  • Leadership Appointments: Mr. Vipul Kumar Hansraj Limbani, Mr. Vivekkumar Nareshbhai Vyas and Mr. Kevalkumar Rameshbhai Patel were appointed as directors on the date of incorporation with a common vision of eco-friendly manufacturing and principles of circular economy.
  • Machinery Installation: Main recycling equipment and facilities were procured and successfully installed to pave the way to production-level operations.

2023

  • March 31, 2023: Strong financial base consisting of an authorized share capital of ₹3 crore and paid-up capital of ₹1.825 crore indicates confidence of investors and readiness to expand.
  • December 30, 2023: Rwenzori conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in celebration of one complete year of corporate governance, planning, and organizational achievements.
  • Operational Commitment: During the year, the company reinforced its commitment to converting plastic to high-value materials by utilizing sustainable energy methods and innovative technology throughout the year.

2024

  • November 2024: Rwenzori officially launched production of its initial high-quality rPET products, a major operational milestone towards the company’s vision of contributing to global sustainability.
  • First International Order: It was the initial export order of 460 metric tons from Canada that confirmed product excellence and established a solid international presence.
  • Global Export Expansion: Rwenzori has since further expanded its market presence to five key international markets of Canada, USA, UAE, and Europe and South Africa.
